At Revive we saw some amazing answers to our prayers!
But now it is time for the next prayer challenge.
The next assembly meeting (22nd September) will be one of the most crucial for us a a movement of churches with the appointment of the new Assembly Council to replace the old Executive Committee.
An old Greek proverb says that “a fish rots from the head down” It is a rather graphic way to describe the absolute importance of leadership. And so this is a crucial decision making time! 20 people have been nominated for 9 positions. The make up of this new group will determine the pace of change for us as a movement.
Please pray for God’s leading and guidance in this matter.
There are three main prayer events that will be happening:
- A half night of prayer on Thursday 20th September 2012 from 6pm – 12am at the Baptist Ministry Center. (if you are unable to get to the Ministry Center we would encourage you to pray offsite, please let us know if you intend to do this)
- A prayer walk on the morning of the Assembly from Epping to Morling College (The prayer walk will set off from BMC Foyer at around 7.30am – 3 Carlingford Road, Epping).
- The prayer time that has now become the starting point of any Assembly and will commence at 9.00am at Morling College.

I will do offsite option on the Thursday, from 7:30- 8:30pm.
I’ll be there for the whole time, this is just to important to miss. When we work we work, but when we pray God works.
I’ll be at the paryer meeting at Assembly. I’ll be at my daughter’s graduation dinner on the half night of prayer.
Will be travelling Thur evening but am sure we can find a place to stop and join you in prayer from a far.

I know it’s only a half night, but I’ll be doing the Friday 21st 6-7am offsite.

I will do Thursday 20th evening 930-1030 offsite – I have a wedding I’m conducting Friday and am up the night before at the Hunter the evening of prayer.
I will be there from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
I will be praying from 9 to 11 at home.
My Son’s y12 Graduation that night but I will see you at the prayer walk.

I can do offsite Thurs 10 – 11.30pm, and will be praying through the day Fri – Sat (what time does the Assembly finish?)

I will not be able to make the on site prayer but will pray offsite Thursday night.
Anna and I will be joining the prayer walk on Saturday morning and then the prayer meeting on site.
Our Thursday evening prayer meeting will also pray for the ASsembly this Thursday as we did yesterday. Thanks for organising this.
