At Revive we saw some amazing answers to our prayers! But now it is time for the next prayer challenge. The next assembly meeting (22nd September) will be one of the most crucial for us a a movement of churches with the appointment of the new Assembly Council to replace the old Executive Committee. An old Greek proverb says that “a fish rots from the head down” It is a rather graphic way to describe the absolute importance of leadership. And so this is a crucial decision making time! 20 people have been nominated for 9 positions. The make up of this new group will determine the pace of change for us as a movement. Please pray for God’s leading and guidance in this matter. There are three main prayer events that will be happening:- A half night of prayer on Thursday 20th September 2012 from 6pm – 12am at the Baptist Ministry Center. (if you are unable to get to the Ministry Center we would encourage you to pray offsite, please let us know if you intend to do this)- A prayer walk on the morning of the Assembly from Epping to Morling College (The prayer walk will set off from BMC Foyer at around 7.30am – 3 Carlingford Road, Epping).- The prayer time that has now become the starting point of any Assembly and will commence at 9.00am at Morling College.Hope that heaps of you can participate in some way in one of these events. Please use the comment box below so we can get an indication of the level of involvement.BlessingsPeteAvailable times
